Google Tools To Boost Your Business Efficiency

The Google tools bag, as I like to call it, is effective because it helps with most of areas of online business such as content creation, or social networking which are critical to operating a successful money making online business. The tools allow anyone to be effective in this new age of marketing which heavily utilizes the internet.
So, what are the Google tools that get overlooked you can start using today?
1. Google Ad words - Most would probably be familiar with the first of the Google tools as pay per click, in which marketers can create keyword targeted ads. As prospects/consumers search for reviews and information by the keyword you targeted, and the marriage of a potential business relationship begins. Google partners with hundreds of other sites to form a network, and the keyword you select determines where your paid ad is shown.
2. Google Docs - These are free documents that are accessible anywhere, with the ability to share with your down line (or anyone else for that matter). The docs can be edited by invited contributors. The documents you are allowed to create are spreadsheet, Word, presentations, forms, and drawings. Google docs is a wonderful tool in that it can be used as a calendar of sorts, as a organizer of mastermind idea among members, and just overall efficiency by keeping all team members on the same page. It is the one out of all the Google tools that is invaluable for organizing.
3. Google Keyword Tool - This might be the most valuable out of the bunch of Google tools.just my opinion. This free nifty little tool helps you create a solid keyword research strategy. In case you're not aware, keywords are immensely important to get your opportunity/product seen, and to avoid wasting money on your marketing efforts. People search for info/reviews by keyword, and as mentioned in # 1 above if you picked the keyword that was input for the search, then your stuff pops up in front of the people searching. Keyword research is essential and can help you attract more qualified traffic to your site. The tool will give you monthly searches both locally and globally for a keyword, the competitiveness of a keyword, and keyword suggestions among other things.
4. Google News - You can use this from the Google tools array to leverage the latest news to your advantage by seemingly being in the know on the latest news/events. It will help give you the image as having the inside scoop on important events, thus becoming an authority and a go to source. It's also to help you generate ideas for content. Access to news timeliness can also pay off in the fact that other journalists and bloggers may find your content while they themselves are doing research, hence you/you site gets more exposure.
5. Google Reader - As with Google News, this Google tool allows you to stay up-to-date on current news/events but with the difference of the ability to filter by your area/industry of interest. It is also excellent for generating content ideas. A good use is for those blogging.you can add a few blogs daily, along with the more popular blogs relative to your industry. The reader will save you time and sift through the blogs for you pulling relative stories/posts based on your parameters.
6. Google Places - Out of all the Google tool this gets your business more visibility by getting it found on Google maps and Google search. The good thing is it's free and can get you listed on the 1st page of Google.prime internet real estate. It will definitely help increase your traffic.
7. Google Plus - We all know Facebook, but Google has its own social platform that was recently launched to the masses. You can use this to drive social media and search engine traffic to your online business or product. Use of the Google plus 1 button on your blogs and anywhere else possible can increase your traffic by more than 3 times. Google Plus incorporates chat and a cool new feature Google Hangout. And with business pages coming soon this is one Google toll to strongly consider in your overall marketing plan. Social media is the new wave of marketing, so it's nice to have this in the Google tools bag.
8. Google Alerts - The one from the Google tools bag that allows you to select the type of content you want Google to look for (e.g., blog post, news articles, video, etc) and the frequency of notifications sent to you by the system.
One of the keys to a successful, efficient business is maximizing your time. Time is the most valuable asset we have in life and business. Google tools helps maximize your time in both areas since business and general life stuff are a tandem. If you give too much to one, the other suffers. Google tools helps make a fair balance. Try them out and see if you don't find more free time to conduct more business, spend with family, or whatever you choose.
